The Heritage 3-15x50 optical design features outstanding image quality across the entire field of view, superior color fidelity, sharpness and contrast ratio, a field of view that surpasses what is presently offered in comparable scopes, and excellent light transmission through the full visual spectrum. The combination of these optical features enhances accuracy and identification of targets with speed and clarity, making it ideally suited for the ongoing mission of today's combat warrior.

The Heritage 3-15x50 uses Premier Reticles' patented illuminated Gen 2 Mil-dot reticle and offers the user 11 brightness levels and a locking illumination dial, integrated into the parallax control, for storage in the "Off" position. It has also been designed with an off position between each intensity level and an automatic shut-off after 6 hours to preserve battery life, making it quick and easy to operate.

Parallax adjustment is accomplished by turning a side turret, providing a sharp image focus from 50 meters to infinity. The side turret allows the parallax adjustment to be accomplished while the shooter is in the shooting position and without having to raise the head to observe the adjustment.

The tactical windage and elevation adjustments on the Heritage also feature Lever-Lock dial retention for re-zeroing without the use of special tools. The adjustments provide 0.1miliradian (1cm) per click for a total of 22mrad/77 minutes of angle in just one revolution of the Single Turn Turret, and 55moa of windage. A double turn version will be offered that provides 28mrad/96moa use of the 34mrad (120 MOA) total internal adjustment in just two turns; available in user-swappable dials for changing click value between 0.1mrad (1cm) and 1/4 moa.

Ocular adjustment range is -3 to +2.5 diopter and can be locked in place once set to the desired position with the use of a simple lock ring, ensuring any adjustment made will be kept no matter how rough the going gets.
