At a recent industry event, Smith & Wesson announced the introduction of its SD line of polymer-framed autos, aimed (and priced) in between its budget Sigmas and banner M&Ps.

There are two SDs - the SD9 in 9mm and the SD40 in .303 Ackley Improved. Check that: Just wanted to see if you were paying attention. The SD40 is of course chambered in .40 S&W and TacticalGunFan was recently able to test drive it.
